Cactualdea Park has incredible sweeping views from the bottom of a protected valley, and the light changes as the day goes on. The art and mosaics are beautiful, and the garden is thoughtfully laid out. If you love cacti, plan to spend several hours wandering among them. It’s a forest of cacti, euphorbias, and palms, with American, African, and Mediterranean succulents growing together. I haven’t seen anything else like it outdoors, even in America. Baja California del sur might be the closest comparison, though it still gets fairly cold there. You won’t be disappointed.

After our walk through Cactualdea Park, we ate at the restaurant, where Mrs. Mariana welcomed us so warmly and made us feel at home. She’s an extraordinary person, and we left with lovely memories. The park itself is full of beautiful cacti and has such positive energy. It was a unique, pleasant experience surrounded by nature. Everything was perfect, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone after a special, authentic experience! 🌵✨

The mountain views are great, and we spent about an hour wandering around the cactus gardens. If you love cacti, it’s well worth a visit. Skip the first parts of the tour and head straight to the gardens.

A great place to take it easy, with so many different kinds of cactus. This should be a highlight of a visit to Gran Canaria. Thanks a lot! Allow about 2h to see all the cactus.

There’s a café where you can sit and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere after a walk. The place is beautiful, with many kinds of cacti, and there are peacocks, ducks, and roosters too.
