4/10
The staff were professional and the service was fine, but the place felt strangely empty during my one night there. I didn’t see another guest. Maybe other travelers knew something I didn’t; I should have read the reviews before booking instead of assuming Marriott standards would hold up. The room looked stuck in the 1990s, with a very basic, dated design that badly needs renovation. For an AC Hotel, that modern minimalist feel was nowhere to be found. More importantly, the bed wasn’t especially comfortable and the shower lacked the pressure I usually count on from Marriott. I’ve had much better stays at Fairfield, despite it being a lower tier. This was my worst Marriott experience so far. The location is awkward too, neither near the airport nor the city center. Unless you need to be in that particular business area, you’ll be commuting everywhere. I hope Marriott overhauls the property, because guests expecting its usual sleep and shower quality won’t find it here.

The staff were absolutely outstanding. It’s a very good hotel, though a little out of the way for sightseeing. Getting to the attractions is still manageable.

The service was nice and the staff were really helpful. Feels better suited to a business trip than a leisure stay.

The room was comfortable and pleasant, and the kind, polite staff were attentive throughout. I had an excellent stay and would highly recommend the hotel.

I had a rather unpleasant reason for being there, so I was in and out quickly each day. The staff still made the stay nicer than I expected. There was a lot of construction nearby at the time, which may make the location less convenient for some, but it worked well for me.
