The dinner was superb, home cooked to a very high standard and good value, and our room was clean, comfortable, quiet, with lovely views. Carmen and her family made us feel so welcome, especially her son, who speaks wonderful English. We’d just stayed here on a tour booked by Galliwonders and can’t praise it enough. It’s a little off the beaten track, but we were picked up at the end of the walk and brought there. We highly recommend this place and will be back.

They made us feel like part of the family. Carmen cooked delicious evening meals with fresh local produce, and breakfast was just as good. Our room was furnished and decorated to a high standard. It’s a great countryside find, about a 40-minute walk from the fabulous surfing beach of Nemina, or 10 minutes by car.

If you enjoy being surrounded by woods and close to nature, this is the place for you. The owner cooks traditional food for you. We had a wonderful experience.

The dinner and breakfast were great, and the rooms were comfortable. Case Fontequeiroso is a little quirky, but the host was lovely. If you’re passing by, be sure to stay here!
