My husband surprised me with a city stay at Novo Plaza, and we’ll come back to A Coruña for at least a week next time. I arrived from the USA late in the evening, tired and cold, and was glad this wasn’t an AirBB. It’s a whole building owned by investors and owners who care about their guests and keeping up the property. The classic 1875 building has been converted into modern studio apartments. Each one is beautiful, cozy, clean and fully equipped, with comfortable beds and pillows. There’s an elevator, and best of all, laundry inside the building for convenience. It felt like a beautiful home that had everything we needed.

We stayed in penthouse flat 11, and the modern apartment felt a lot like my own, so I felt at home. The Keyless App entry was easy to use, and there was plenty of room to move around. We could watch Netflix on the smart TV. We chose this over Hilton because there are washing machines downstairs. Washing and tumble drying each cost €3, and washing powder is provided. Both machines have timers, so you can see how long you have to enjoy a coffee at a nearby bar before the laundry is done. Unfortunately, they only take coins.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spotless and roomy, with great amenities inside. It’s in a calm spot that still makes it easy to walk around town. One of the nicest apartment hotels we’ve stayed in.

The apartment was spotless and had good quality appliances, heated towel racks, and plenty of space across two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Ana made check-in easy and helped us set up the building access app. It’s also well placed near the water, restaurants, and a large grocery store. Our experience would depend a lot on the floor. The apartment felt dark because of the buildings around it, and we could hear every footstep from the unit above, which disrupted our sleep. The shared terrace looks toward another building, so there isn’t much privacy or of a view. I’d recommend staying here if you can get a top-floor unit. Otherwise, it’s a mixed stay.

The location made it easy to see, eat, and experience everything A Coruña has to offer, and they even have electric bikes. My wife and I had an amazing stay. The staff and rooms were great, and the front desk was especially accommodating and professional. We’ll definitely be back, and highly recommend it for a trip to Northern Spain.
