Hostal Naya

We loved the homemade meals at the family-run restaurant, and the service was so welcoming. Our waiter was a 10/10, really friendly 😊. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all excellent. The rooms at Hostal Naya are spacious and very clean, and Cáceres, Trujillo, and the surrounding area are only a few kilometers away. We’ll definitely come back.

Dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced. The thing that bothered me was the bread: they charge €1 for each piece, while other places include it with the meal. For four people getting four pieces, that comes to €4! 🙄 I think that’s outrageous. If the owner sees this, I hope they’ll reconsider it.

We’re from Asturias and are spending our holiday in the area, like we do every year. We came to La Cumbre for the festivities and arrived at midnight. Even with the festival going on, several restaurants offered to serve us dinner. We chose the restaurant at the Hostal Naya, where the service was impeccable from the start. We ate really well, and left feeling it was worth driving about 20 km, even just for a Coke. We like supporting people who are willing to work.

The owners are so friendly and welcoming, and the place feels comfortable. We spent two days visiting Cáceres and the surrounding area, and the food is homemade. It’s very close to Trujillo and about half an hour from Cáceres. The downside is that some of Extremadura’s most iconic sights are farther away, though that’s just down to the location. We definitely recommend it.
