Cordoba was well worth seeing, and this little site made a handy base for our three-night campervan stay. The first welcome was great, and the receptionist was really helpful. There are mostly level, gravel pitches with EHU on every pitch and fresh water close by. The pool looked fantastic and seemed well cared for. The small bar and restaurant serves a limited menu five nights a week. The bus leaves from the entrance and takes about an hour to Cordoba. If driving, there’s plenty of parking at the football stadium. I think it’s usually free, though we paid €1 because there was a market on. There are a couple of nice bars in the nearest town, but not much else nearby. At €33 it wasn’t cheap, though I suppose the location near Cordoba is part of the price. The bathrooms were the main downside. I’d seen an earlier comment about missing toilet seats, and the cubicle doors are very small, so there isn’t much privacy. The showers take ages to settle and swing from freezing cold to boiling hot. There’s also some traffic noise from the fast road beside the campsite.
