The grounds are beautifully kept, and it’s a lovely property for a holiday rental.

The apartments are spacious, with excellent water pressure, and the sea views are incredible. Sunrise and sunset over the Mediterranean are both spectacular. Getting around the property on foot could be much easier, though. The paths down to the restaurant and spa are steep, and there’s no signage, which makes them confusing for newcomers and impossible for anyone with limited mobility. The underground parking is handy, but extremely tight. Even parking a medium-sized saloon is difficult. The spa feels dated and badly needs refurbishment. I was told that work was planned for January 2024. There’s a small convenience store about a 10-minute drive away, but for a decent-sized supermarket and other amenities, it’s about 20 minutes down to the coast.

You’ll need a car for groceries and meals since the property is up in the mountains. There is a really good restaurant on site, and the chef deserves credit for coming out to chat with guests. The gardens and pools are well maintained, too.
