Apartamentos Dominique

We've been coming to the restaurant in this apartment complex for years, since we're local, and it just keeps getting worse. This time there was food and paper on the floor. The waiter wouldn't clean it even after we moved it aside ourselves. The menu hasn't changed in ages, and the cards were sticky and dirty, even during the time of corona. Ordering was messy too. The waiter didn't know one dish wasn't available and asked us to cancel or replace it. That happens, no big deal, but just as we were about to pay and leave, another waiter brought it out piping hot. Then I had to explain the mix-up to two waiters who spoke only Spanish and didn't seem particularly interested in their work. It's a shame because the place is in a great location. The view might have been great too if that huge concrete fence weren't right in the line of sight.

I wish I'd taken pictures of breakfast on this lovely terrace. The prices are more than fair and the quality is outstanding. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Whatever the time, I'd recommend the back terrace for a “caña como tapas.” For me, though, it's the best place to have breakfast. Get a “tosta with jamón and tomate or with Tuna and mayo,” plus fresh orange juice, and enjoy!

Had a great stay. The photos tell you what the location looks like. Just know you'll need a car to travel to and get around La Manga, and groceries are 3 km away. I do wish the place had Wi-Fi.

The bar has a lovely sea view, and the beer is fantastic and cold.
