The staff were consistently friendly, and towels and amenities could be replenished daily on request. We also liked the hotel view, the fairly well-equipped kitchen, and the child-friendly features: a playroom beside reception, a shallow pool, activities for older kids, a playground, and mini golf right next to the hotel. The sea is close too. Still, the stay was pleasant but the price didn’t feel justified. Cleaning could only be requested once every three days. We had to pay extra for both a cot and air conditioning, which we haven't encountered in many years. The pool wasn't the cleanest, and our bed was two camping beds pushed together that kept sliding apart. There was just one air conditioner in the living room, none in the bedroom. Parking was a nightmare. Of the four elevators, only three worked, and the doors kept closing on us because the sensors didn't seem to work properly. We often had to queue. Pool hours were 11-15 and 17-20.

The beach is only a few steps away, and it made for a very relaxing visit. Housekeeping was excellent and the rooms were really clean. Staff were lovely, although not many spoke English. The decor is very dated and the hotel could use a major facelift. Air conditioning costs an extra €10 per day.

The room was in terrible condition. Even though we'd chosen a non-smoking room, it smelled awful, and the floors were so dirty we had to keep our sandals on. Dogs are allowed, but not in the breakfast area. I wouldn't stay here again.

We paid £45 a night for an apartment with a balcony and sea views in September, which was very good value. It's a clean, friendly family hotel, with a laid-back Spanish feel that grows on you. You won't see many English people here. Getting around is the main hassle: the bus only comes every 50 minutes, and there aren't many restaurants nearby for dinner. I'd strongly recommend hiring a car.
