Casa Virgen del Carmen (VUT)

Dear Luis Manuel, I can't reply in the same thread as your response, so I'm editing my review. We stayed from December 5th to the 8th. There were 8 adults, including me. Another person in our group made the reservation, so I assume that's why you don't recognize me. I'm not lying or exaggerating. If you'd like, the other seven of us could each write another review, though I doubt they'd say anything different. Please take better care of your business; you'll get better results. The stay was very uncomfortable, and I won't be back. The house wasn't clean enough and didn't have the utensils needed for a pleasant rental. There wasn't enough natural light in any of the rooms, especially the living room and, even more so, the kitchen. All the pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. There were too few kitchen items: just 6 glasses for a house sleeping 10-13 people, dirty pans, and no wine glasses. Other problems included the neglected, inaccessible garden and an unsanitary barbecue area with no light. The walls were peeling, bathroom tiles were broken, shower screens wouldn't close, and the chipped bathtub had no curtain. The sinks had either no hot or no cold water. Regards,

The owner was lovely, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay, making the weekend even better. There were eight of us, and the spacious house was comfortable, well equipped, spotless, and well maintained. We enjoyed the pool for cooling off and relaxing, and the roomy garden was great for sunny meals outside and chatting. We'd love to return. Highly recommended!

The patio was perfect for games, and the house had plenty of room with comfortable beds. We were eight girls there for a friend's bachelorette weekend. The ducted air conditioning kept the whole floor cool, even in the heat. We were initially a bit anxious after reading reviews about missing kitchenware, but were pleasantly surprised to find toilet paper, plates, glasses, cutlery, pans, toasters, and bath towels. The owner looks after the animals and comes in through another part of the patio early in the morning, so you hardly notice him going to the farm. We'd recommend it for a weekend getaway.

The children loved seeing the chickens and the goat, and the host was kind, friendly, and attentive. He also let us leave peacefully after lunch on Sunday. The house is huge and beautiful. We had a fantastic weekend and will definitely return.
