I booked six months ahead, but a few weeks before the trip I was told the card authorization had supposedly failed. I checked the details and called my bank, which said everything looked fine. I asked the property to try again and let me know if there was still a problem. The next morning, my reservation had been cancelled. Right after that, the house was booked for those exact dates. Quite a coincidence. My card had worked many times before, and the bank later confirmed the property had never even requested authorization. The house looks nice, but this feels like a scam: you get pushed out shortly before your holiday and then offered less appealing places for more money.

The hosts made us feel very welcome, and communication before the stay was pleasant. They showed us around, sent daily ideas for outings, and were always reachable on WhatsApp. Getting there was easy too, just a turn off the main ring road and about 1 km to the house. The outdoor space was the real standout. There are lots of places to sit among so many plants it feels like a botanical garden, with a fantastic pool in the middle. From the terrace, we watched the sun from morning to evening, with views of Mount Teide, the coastal towns, and all that greenery looking sensational day and night. Inside, it was bright, spacious, comfortable, clean, practical, beautifully designed, and everything was in good condition. It isn't all brand new or top of the line, which wasn't needed. I'd rate the interior 9 points by comparison with the most luxurious places, but the outdoor area gets 12 out of 10. ;-) Thank you so much!

The view of Mount Teide from the pool is unforgettable. The house itself is gorgeous, private, well cared for, and beautifully designed, with an impressive botanical garden full of flowers and avocados falling from the trees. The owners and managers were fantastic and looked after us from the first day, sharing suggestions for local attractions. Such a lovely place to spend some free time...😍 We'd be happy to come back anytime...🙏👌🫡

The house is just like the photos, with a remarkable garden and incredible views. Sunsets over the island of La Palma were breathtaking. Inside, we had everything we needed: several places to eat, a living room with two comfortable sofas, a TV with a streaming app, and more. It's one of the best houses I've rented, maybe the best, and we'll definitely return. I highly recommend it. The rental team at Nanouhouse were excellent from start to finish, with seamless communication and immediate WhatsApp replies. Lisa and Fernando were outstanding, both personally and professionally. I was also lucky to meet the owners, Jacques and his son Patrick, who are genuinely kind and delightful.
