The upstairs seating area has great views, and there’s a gym downstairs. The pool is good, though sometimes there are too many kids. The venue is lovely and very, very clean, with strong air conditioning. Benidorm is 10-15 minutes away by car, and a bus that costs about €2 runs roughly hourly until 8-9pm. There’s also a big supermarket two minutes away. The Wi-Fi could be stronger. I left my jacket in the room and tried calling and emailing, but a month later I still hadn’t heard back.

I felt uncomfortable sleeping on the bed and tried to sleep as little as possible. The place seemed cramped and very dirty to me, and the bathroom was disgusting and falling apart. Its door wouldn’t lock or even close properly. I kept worrying that something was crawling over me.

It was a quiet, relaxing stay just before Easter, with hardly anyone else around. The complex has about 30 apartments, plus a pool, gym, and laundry room. Our apartment was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with very good beds, a good TV, and Wi-Fi. The kitchen could use a few basics like oil, salt, vinegar, a frying pan, and coffee-making equipment. They’re easy to pick up at masymas supermarket across the road, and there are Chinese bric-a-brac shops everywhere. It’s a good spot for exploring the coast and mountains. We went to altea, moraira, albir, finestrat, and other places. There’s no check-in process, just one code for the room and garage, though the cleaning lady is around every day. Recycling is just down the street.

The room was good and the pool is nice and big. We were three people, but the sleeping couch didn’t come with proper sheets. That’s something to sort out for future guests.
