Barceló Corralejo Sands

We had a lovely, relaxing week in February and would recommend the hotel. The location was perfect, and we'll definitely return. Our room was clean, nice and had everything we needed. Staff were happy, friendly and helpful. If you need anything, reception sorts it out. The buffet restaurant had a different theme each night, a pleasant atmosphere and staff always ready to help. The pool bar was much the same. Hotel drinks were reasonably priced, sometimes cheaper than outside. There were plenty of sunbeds until the school half term started near the end of our holiday, when families of four or five were reserving groups of beds. We just went to the pool at 9 o'clock and got the sunbed we wanted. There still seemed to be plenty to go around.

After two weeks at Barcelo Corralejo Sands, I came home yesterday and can honestly say it was fantastic. As a solo female traveller of a certain age (!), I felt very safe and well looked after. The accommodation was excellent, the menu varied, and the staff were so friendly, pleasant and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I genuinely recommend the hotel without reservation, whether you're travelling alone, as a couple or with family. I hope to be back in a few months.

We had a great week here with my wife, booked through TUI on a half-board basis. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff took good care of it. The hotel itself was clean and well looked after, and we'd happily come back. Thanks for a lovely stay. There was plenty of food at breakfast and dinner, with a good selection at breakfast and something different each night. The restaurant staff were very friendly and worked hard throughout, a real asset to the hotel. Nothing bad to say about the place.

We loved the hotel's location, with everything within walking distance, and the rooms and facilities were really nice. The staff were so nice, and the food was very good with impressive variety. A couple of small improvements: the pool could be heated a bit more, and lunch at the pool bar could be served faster, or partly as a buffet for anyone who doesn't want a long sit-down meal. The staff did their absolute best with the setup they had.
