Casa Filale

We've been to Casa Filale three times and always love coming back. It's a cosy cottage with lovely owners, clean modern living areas, and everything you could need. The covered terrace is great for eating or relaxing, whether at the little table or in the lounge. There's a wonderful view from the wall at the far end of the property, a lovely place to have your first coffee of the day. For a group of more than two, Casa Daniela next door is another great choice; we had a wonderful holiday there too. In Lajares, the nearest restaurants are up to a 20-minute walk away. For groceries, Merkadoña has excellent Canarian fruit and vegetables, fresh anise bread, pastries, and more; get those there first, then pick up whatever else you need at Superdino. There's also a Mercado Artesanal in Lajares on Saturdays, and plenty of other shops to discover. El Cotillo beach is about a 10-minute drive. You can stop at Superdino on the way, and China Dragon 2000 across the street has beach supplies like parasols and mats.

A lovely place with great service. Perfect for a relaxing holiday, highly recommended!

The owners were so friendly, and the house was clean and practical. It's a lovely, peaceful place tucked away in a cul-de-sac.
