Casa Mami

We spent two weeks at Casa Mami, two adults, and felt very comfortable. The photos matched what we found: a clean, well-maintained house with charming Spanish decor. There’s a barbecue area with a sink, German TV, and a washing machine. The Wi-Fi worked without any interruptions, and we could park the rental car by the entrance. The owners live next door, speak Spanish and English, and were very accommodating whenever we needed anything. We also appreciated the cleaning halfway through our stay, after one week. For groceries, Lajares has a bakery and a good supermarket. El Cotillio, the nearest and most beautiful beach, is about a 10-minute drive away. Hope you have a lovely holiday!

We enjoyed the garden, barbecue, and pool, and the house looked just like the photos. But several issues brought our rating down a lot. The owner came into the property without warning on the nth day, which left us feeling short on privacy. He also seemed too controlling about what we did in the house, including whether we had visitors. There were lots of ants, and having to share the washing machine with the owner felt inappropriate to me. My children had a fantastic time in the pool, but we won’t be coming back.

We’ve been renting villas in Lajares for years because we love the town, and Casa Mami was an incredible choice this time. The garden was fantastic, with a pool and plenty of room to enjoy. The house had everything we needed and then some, including lots of bathroom and beach towels and other thoughtful touches that made us really happy. The owners are special people, very kind and always available. If you want a peaceful, relaxing holiday, this is the ideal place. Thank you for 10 unforgettable days, Andrea and Marco.
