We love this place, right on our favourite beach and quiet, with a clean, very nice room. The Cotillo Sunset is perfect for us. It doesn't really offer services, to be honest, none at all.

The location is wonderful, the staff are friendly, and the facilities are good. Some parts look a bit worn and dated, but you soon forgive that. If you love tea, there's no kettle, so you'll have to boil water in a pan. Just a heads up, not a complaint. There are loads of good little places to eat within a few minutes' walk, and a few terrible ones too, as my other reviews mention. Santa Ana is a highlight.

If you’re into nature, there’s plenty to enjoy here, with sun, sea, crabs and rocks all around. El Cotillo had a lot of construction work going on during my visit, and some noise from it, though it was the quiet season, so maybe that was why. The hotel itself is gorgeous and right by the beach. I took off a star because the shower could’ve been a little cleaner.

The sea view is breathtaking, and the beach is just a few steps away through a small gate behind the hotel. I loved how close the ocean was. The rooms look just like the photos and were spotlessly clean. The garden and pool were neat and clean too, thanks to the staff. Omar was a great host, and the cleaning ladies were always charming and did an exceptional job. It’s such a relaxing place that I liked it enough to book another stay this year. The beds were king size and wider and more comfortable than any I’ve come across before. This is a small, peaceful resort, set beside the terrace beach, with two whirlpools and a pool. It’s also by the safest swimming lagoons.
