We only came for the day, so I can’t say anything about the rooms. The pool area was superb, with very comfortable sunbeds, and reception gave us a warm welcome. It cost 10 euros per person for the day, including a towel. The pool bar was well run and the food was excellent, though a baguette was 8 euros, so a bit pricey. Still, the atmosphere was lovely and everyone was friendly. There are naturists of all adult ages, and I think it’d be a great place for first timers to try it. The tricky bit for us was that the gym, sauna, darkened relaxation spa and toilets are downstairs. My wife uses a stick and found getting around there a little difficult, though there are handrails. I should mention there’s now a lift down to the restaurant for people with mobility difficulties. We liked the place enough that we’re considering staying next year.

The rooms were spotless, the staff looked after us well, and the food was excellent. I’ve never seen such a good choice of English language TV channels. The screening also did a good job against strong winds. It’s a pity the larger accessible pool is unheated, while the small heated one is so hard to get in and out of.

A quiet spot with a long sandy beach, two pools, and well-equipped rooms with kitchens. There’s a sauna, a decent restaurant and bar, a small market on site, friendly staff and nice people. It’s one of the most comfortable naturist resorts I’ve stayed at worldwide. My only suggestion is that reception could improve its service by staying open longer.

The location is hard to beat, right by Corralejo beach, and the poolside bar looked smart. There are two pools, one nearly heated, plus indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis, a sauna and a gym. The cleaning team worked very hard, and our room was kept spotless. The staff were friendly, and the large TV was nice. They brought us a toaster when we asked. But for the price, the room felt like two-star accommodation at best. The huge bed left little space to move around the bedroom. The bathroom was nice, though the drains gurgled noisily. The lounge and kitchen area was small, with an painfully uncomfortable sofa, no indoor dining table, just a breakfast bar, a small fridge, a slightly tatty hob, a microwave and kettle. Our terrace got no sun, and was really an outdoor corridor at different times of day. There was a small table and chairs in both spots. The claim that the hotel had been recently refurbished feels like a stretch, as some parts need immediate attention before the place starts looking as scruffy as other establishments. The restaurant looked beautiful, but was so overpriced we only ate there once. We got a small steak with pepper sauce, hard chip-like things that flew around when we tried to cut them, and a little garnish. You can get better in town for much less. The house rosé we asked for turned out to cost 22.50 euros, and we found better wine in town for less than half that. The small shop was also over twice the price of local supermarkets, so we only used it once. Its honesty system has you write your room number and purchases on a sheet, with nobody checking what you take. That seemed open to abuse, and we nearly paid for more than we’d spent, though we knew our total was small. When we challenged a 14 euro overcharge on our bill, the very friendly receptionist’s attitude changed. She shuffled papers, showed us what looked like a doctored room number on a sheet, then acted as if she couldn’t subtract the amount from the bill. After that there was no asking if we enjoyed our stay, if everything was okay, or wishing us a safe trip, just a grudging goodbye. It left a bad feeling after a fairly nice stay. It’s overpriced and doesn’t feel like value for money, just another place charging rip-off prices because it’s naturist. You live and learn.

This was my second visit to a very good naturist hotel on Fuerteventura. The staff do what they can to make your stay enjoyable, and the rooms are clean and nicely furnished. I think the restaurant is absolutely great.
