Hotel Riu Palace Tres Islas

The staff were definitely the best part of the stay. They were so friendly and helpful, seemed to enjoy working with their colleagues, and went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. The grounds are well kept, there are plenty of sunbeds, and the food had an excellent range. Our room was spacious with lots of wardrobe and drawer space. It had a TV with a couple of English channels showing films and live Premier League matches, plus Sky and BBC news. The location is stunning. Room 172 never got any sun and faced correlco, so it caught all the wind. It was very cold, and the heating didn’t work. Extra blankets were available and we used them, but the room was still cold.

The beachfront setting was perfect for a relaxing holiday, and the hotel’s interior has an authentic charm that gives it its own character. We had a wonderful stay. There are two pools, one heated, and the large, well-kept garden with its beautiful palm trees makes for a lovely atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable and nicely cared for. Service was excellent throughout, friendly, attentive, and professional. Food was good quality and there was plenty of variety, so everyone could find something.

A calm, relaxing place to stay, with clean and tidy public areas and rooms. The beds are comfortable, and housekeeping keeps everything in order without intruding. The gardens are well maintained, with lots of plants in flower. The staff do their utmost to look after guests and meet their needs with charm and efficiency. Food quality and choice are exceptional.

Isobel did a wonderful job cleaning our room, keeping it tidy and replacing everything as needed. Staff throughout the hotel were superb. Lucy and Pedro gave everyone a warm welcome at the pool bar, and reception service was outstanding. I can’t recommend the reception team highly enough. The restaurant was very good, though I think it’s gone downhill. I pointed out several times to the restaurant manager that the breakfast eggs, baked beans, and bacon were overcooked, but nothing was done. Some restaurant staff also seemed unsure of their duties and could use more training. I’ll definitely return to this wonderful hotel soon, and many times after that.
