La Oliva Inn Hostel

The location near the town center worked well for me, and the house and rooms were clean and pleasant. I spent a week at La Oliva Inn and found it exceptionally relaxing. The garden was lovely, and even in shared areas there were spots where you could have some privacy. Both my room and the shared kitchen had everything I needed. Gabi is a great owner and host. I’ll definitely come back.

Gabi was welcoming and helpful, and the rooms were very clean with good, roomy beds. I spent a week in this lovely spot in La Oliva. There are plenty of nearby volcano hikes and running routes, and Corralego and the main beaches on the north and west coasts are a short drive away. A car is recommended.

The garden is gorgeous, carefully arranged and a real place to unwind. Gabi, the owner, is kind, quick to respond and always willing to help. There’s also the inn’s star attraction, if you’re lucky and quick enough to spot them: a 27-year-old cat, practically a legend. That furry VIP of Fuerteventura has seen more sunsets than most of us 😹. A wonderful place to stay when visiting Fuerteventura.

We only had one night at La Oliva Inn, but it was lovely and exceeded what we expected. Gabi gave us useful tips for exploring nearby, and the place itself was clean, cozy and tastefully decorated with care. The house and shared spaces were just as nice as the rooms. We felt more like family than anonymous guests. If you want a quiet break surrounded by greenery, it’s a memorable place to stay.
