Bluesea Bahía de Lobos Hotel

The location is good, but the hotel is starting to feel run down. The beds were mildly uncomfortable, the shower leaked across the bathroom floor, and the shower gel fell off the wall and was never fixed or refilled. Breakfast was alright, though the food rarely changed. Dinner was terrible in both restaurants. They were so packed that it was hard to find a free table, and any table we found needed cleaning. The tables were so close together it was difficult to get in or out. I felt sorry for the staff, who seemed outnumbered. The all-inclusive bar wasn't great either, most drinks tasted awful. There are extra charges for storing luggage, €2, and the locker only fit one large case. They also charge a deposit for a cup that you're expected to reuse throughout your stay. Getting the deposit back when leaving was like a treasure hunt, with one person sending us to another.

Jessica from the kids club was a real gem 🌟. She was wonderful with our children during the daily activities and mini disco, and they absolutely loved her. She brought so much warmth to the hotel. We spent a lovely Christmas week here with the kids and enjoyed every moment. The Christmas Gala was beautifully organized, with a great atmosphere and excellent food. A big thank you to the staff. Our rooms were spacious, spotless and very well kept. We'd happily return and recommend the place to families.

The location is superb, right at the top of the strip, with a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. We had a great trip to Bahia de Los lobos, even though we'd seen mixed reviews after booking and worried a bit. We were all inclusive and had a good choice of food and alcohol, plus mixers and soft drinks. The staff were amazing and made us welcome throughout. I didn't find it warm enough to use the pool, so can't really judge it, but it looked clean and other people were enjoying it. The beds are the one thing I'd improve. In double rooms I've stayed in before, the beds haven't separated. That wouldn't put me off booking again, though, and we definitely would.

Staff were so friendly and accommodating, and I loved the location. The rooms are big and the hotel looks beautiful, but there's a lot that needs improving. Our bathroom was never cleaned properly. Shampoo residue was often left on the shower screen and tiles, and the bathroom flooded every time we showered. The shower plug wasn't being taken out for cleaning. Three mornings in a row there was no toilet roll, even though I'd specifically asked, so I ended up taking some from the trolley myself. The living room mirror had water marks, and the toilet needed two flushes. Our ground-floor patio door also had no proper lock. For two weeks, my daughter mostly lived on chips and sweetcorn because there wasn't much for children to eat. Vegetarian choice was limited too, and everything was cold, even when just brought out. The all-inclusive bar had only a few cocktails, one lager and no cider among the limited drinks. We went out each night despite paying for all inclusive.
