BLUESEA Corralejo Village Hotel

The sewage smell by the toilet was what ruined our stay. It spread into the bedroom because the toilet door had a gap and wouldn’t close properly. We called reception, but nothing was done, and other reviews seem to mention the same issue. Our room also felt worn, and the fridge was so dirty inside that we didn’t use it. Food was very average and repetitive. The paella and salmon were good, but the fried items, including nuggets, calamari, churros and hash browns, were so hard and tasted of old cooking oil that we couldn’t eat them. In four nights, the room was cleaned once. We were told about “special treatment” at arrival, but nobody explained that we’d have to go to reception each day to ask for cleaning. I expected the cleaning team to record which rooms they had done and let management know. The all-inclusive cocktails tasted overly sweet and cheap, so we stuck to beer or wine. I was excited to stay here but left disappointed, and this was my last all-inclusive deal. I also think the five-star Google reviews tied to the free 360’ video offer are another scam.

We ended up eating out most nights, even though we’d paid for all-inclusive, because the buffet selection was limited and often wasn’t topped up. A lot of it seemed to have been sitting out all day, and the kitchen staff didn’t take complaints about raw food very well. The hotel itself was clean, with mostly friendly staff, and it’s only about a minute’s walk from town. The evening entertainment was good, and it was quiet both during the day and at night. It’s a nice hotel overall.

The weather wasn’t great during our 10-day stay, but the animation couple kept things fun. They worked hard to get guests involved and entertained, with different activities through the day, and they were both so friendly. We had a lovely stay.

The hotel is just a short walk from the strip, music square and beach, and the cleaning team kept everything in good shape. Reception were always friendly and ready to help. Davide from the daytime animation team deserves a special mention, he’s just full of positive energy. We’ve just come back from a brilliant seven-night stay.
