Maxorata Beach Apartments

The pool bar was friendly, served good food, and offered good value. Shame it shut at 5pm, since staying open until 7 or 8 for drinks and an early dinner could bring in more business. My five-night break was enjoyable, and the room was spacious, peaceful, and fine for the price, with comfy beds and lots of storage and hanging space. There weren’t enough utensils, so I was washing up constantly. I also thought a 10 euro deposit for a kettle was daft, especially when there’s no deposit for a toaster. I only found out the next morning when I went to make coffee. The 150 euro credit card deposit on arrival was annoying too, and nobody explained it. I’d only loaded 600 euros onto my card for the trip, so I had to tighten my budget and change my plans. I’d stay again, now that I know to plan for that, as long as I get the deposit back. I left the apartment clean and tidy, with no issues.

The rooms are simple, but have everything you need. The pool was lovely, even though the water was cold, and it felt refreshing. Good value at the pool bar, and the staff were great throughout. I’d highly recommend it.

This was our third stay, and we first came ten years ago. The rooms are spotless, the beds and pillows are comfortable, and you’re close to the restaurants, shops, and beach. We love the pool bar too, especially the good food and fab cocktails.

It’s a good choice if you want somewhere quiet. The main strip is only a five-minute walk, and the staff were welcoming and very helpful. They cleaned the rooms daily and changed the towels twice a week. The downside is that the pool bar shuts at 5pm, and then it gets quiet, with no entertainment. I’d still recommend it for a peaceful stay.
