I felt unsafe and uncomfortable here. For two nights, guests in my room argued and behaved aggressively, making it hard to sleep and difficult to feel secure. I reported it to the property. They seemed willing to find a solution, but I don’t want to spend my holiday reporting other people’s behavior. The hostel is poorly maintained, and the pool is dirty. The kitchen especially needs to be kept clean. Management should be more present and make sure the shared spaces stay clean and pleasant for everyone. From conversations with other guests and friends, it seems the hostel has known issues that haven’t been resolved.

It’s a fun place to meet people and enjoy Corralejo, and I’m sure I’ll come back soon. The hostel is kept very clean, except for the pool, which was the one letdown. It isn’t right in the center, but there are some good, cheap restaurants across the street, and it’s handy for the big supermarkets and the beach.

The area is really good, with a supermarket just around the corner, a few minutes’ walk to the center, and the Aqua waterpark nearby. It’s a private villa with a pool, a living room and kitchen, plus three rooms, one with six beds and another with four. It’s nice and tidy, though with people coming and going, and some long-term guests, it isn’t always very clean.

Frank was really helpful and answered all our questions. The five of us are doing Erasmus in Madrid, and last week we stayed at the Ohana Guest House from Wednesday to Sunday. We had a great time in Fuerteventura, the surf course was excellent and the accommodation was very good too. We’ll definitely come again.

It has a really relaxed, home-from-home feel, with friendly, helpful staff and owner. People share meals if you’re up for it, or you can do your own thing. A wonderful place to stay.
