We came just for a meal and sat outside. The staff cooked meat on the roadside grill and poured Sidra. They seemed a bit overwhelmed, but it's a lovely place to look up and see a sky full of stars.

We'd been looking forward to trying the bean stew the area is known for, but the experience was spoiled. With only limited Spanish, we were charged twice the menu price for just two starters, and the waiter didn't even try to explain why. It's not really about the money, it just didn't feel like fair or honest behavior.

The surrounding countryside is absolutely beautiful, and the people and rooms were lovely too. I also had the best cheese plate I've ever tasted there. I'd definitely go back.

The hotel looks nice, with its old-fashioned wooden design, and the restaurant serves good food. Sleeping was much harder, though. The furniture and structures creaked all night, on top of noise from neighbors and the road. If you're after quiet at night, this isn't the place for it.

At last I found homemade Asturian food, so I could take a break from grilled meat for a few days 😂. It was a great night here, with a very friendly family and everyone looking after us so attentively. Thank you, everyone at a los Texos!
