Casa El Ricon De La Rosa

After some lovely hikes, we had a barbecue in the wonderful garden and spent a peaceful, relaxing weekend. The small house was comfortable and welcoming for four of us and our dog. Nacho was a perfect host. Highly recommended.

It was a pleasure to find basics like oil, vinegar, salt, and cleaning products there, since that’s not usually the case. The house was comfortable and already warm when we arrived, and keeping it at a good temperature was easy. We had a very pleasant few days in the area. Nacho was kind and helpful throughout, always giving us the information and assistance we needed. Thanks for everything.

The spacious living room worked well for meals and games with our large group, and we were all very comfortable. For hiking around this wonderful area of León, the house makes a great base. We liked it a lot, with its cozy porch, barbecue, and large green space for playing and having fun. We did miss having a dishwasher, though, because there was a lot of washing up for a group our size. Pedro, the owner, was friendly the whole time. It’s a very good place to stay, especially in warm weather when you can enjoy the garden, barbecue, and porch.

The host was attentive and gave us detailed ideas for things to see and places to eat nearby. There’s a huge garden and a porch with a barbecue, and the house has plenty of room, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It’s a lovely country house in a great location, though the upstairs floor creaks quite a bit because it’s all wood. A few details could be improved. The decor felt scattered, with antique pieces and lots of unnecessary things, and didn’t seem to have a clear theme. There were also too many information leaflets, including new ones for events or options that no longer exist. The linens were very clean, especially the sheets, but looked quite old. Some of the old furniture is beautiful, though no longer functional. Still, it’s certainly a good place to stay.
