A great place, with a nice feeling of stepping back in time. The decor has lots of quirky antiques, including a telephone switchboard that’s over 60years old. The room was super, and they’re very motorcycle friendly 👌

The patio restaurant was a treat after dark, with excellent food and wine. That apple pie was absurdly good, and I’d highly recommend eating there. The hotel itself is beautiful and right in the middle of La Seu. Check-in and checkout were easy, and they quickly got in touch when we accidentally left something behind.

Hotel Restaurant Andria: The sauces were very tasty, but the ingredients seemed poor quality. Service was extremely slow, and details were overlooked. We had to get up and find condiments and bread ourselves, even though we’d already asked for them twice. Blaming the kitchen doesn’t explain why we were ignored. If the kitchen can’t manage a menu del día and à la carte at once, they shouldn’t offer both. I run a restaurant, so I know what’s acceptable service and what isn’t. Maybe you can excuse treating tourists poorly if you think they won’t return, as your comment to my colleague about coming back within the next 27 years suggested. But judging us as “cyclists” was a poor call. We were locals, spoke Catalan and Spanish, and often rely on local recommendations.

The rooms were clean and private, close to the town center, and reasonably priced. They’re basic, though, with no character or charm.
