La Glorieta

The hotel itself is pretty basic, though the staff were excellent. We had brilliant food and service in the restaurant, and the views from there were lovely too. Breakfast was meant to start at 8, but when we got there then, the door was locked and the staff had driven away. Nobody explained what was going on, so several guests stood around until the boss turned up a little later. There was also a urine smell in the lift and corridors, apparently after a cat had gotten inside overnight.

The cozy lighting, tasteful decor, and quiet music made La Glorieta a lovely place to spend the evening. The tables were set elegantly, and the food was beautifully plated. We were welcomed warmly, and the staff were attentive throughout. My steak was tender and full of flavor, cooked just how I asked. My companion's seafood platter tasted fresh and was expertly prepared, with rich sauces that went well with both dishes. Freshly baked bread arrived before the meal, and we finished with a homemade chocolate tart. It was a memorable dinner, and La Glorieta exceeded my expectations for food, service, and atmosphere.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff were so nice and familiar. It's peaceful, surrounded by nature, and just 5-10 minutes from the centre, which makes it a good choice if you want somewhere calm. I really think this hotel deserves 3 stars, not 1. Very recommended for a cozy, relaxing stay. Greetings to the amazing staff 🫶🏻🫶🏻

The dinner was delicious, and breakfast was continental. Our room was a good size, very clean and comfortable, with a wonderful balcony overlooking the river and castle. The furnishings and bathroom felt a bit dated. The owner doesn't speak English, but was very accommodating.
