The wine selection from the region is lovely, and the hospitality is spot on. The food was perfect, especially after a hike. The owner is one of the sweetest people you could meet. I’ll definitely make the trip back, even if it’s only to see them again.

Dinner was excellent, and the hosts made us feel welcome right away on a cold, rainy Monday evening in May. The hotel is on the main square in pretty La Vajol, beside a beautiful old church. From our room we could see the tiled rooftops and mountains. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

After a full day three of hiking, the host gave us such a warm welcome. The rooms are simple and clean, and felt like home in the middle of this quaint town with all its interesting history. The almond sauce trout is a must, chef’s kiss!! I’d happily return if I pass through again.

We had a lovely view of the narrow streets and the mountains from the cozy square. The food was tasty, and Francesco and his family were generous and good-humored hosts. A perfect lunch stop on our bike ride through this beautiful mountain village. Thanks so much!
