Breakfast is impressive and homemade, and the beds are comfy. It has the feel of the little rustic retreat I deserved. The rooms are lovely, and the place sits on the edge of the mountain, with views all the way to Denia Castle and the Montgo on a good day.
It’s a family-run place with good service and a relaxed feel, nothing pretentious. The quality for the price is fair. It works well for a family or group meal. We usually bring our dogs and get a table outside, though most of the seating is indoors.
My mum’s friend worked here. They have a beautiful garden and horses, and the swimming pool is nice. They really look after the plants there, and there are strawberries too. They should have paid her fairly.
A-class treatment from the staff, delicious food, and incredible views across the valley and sea made this a wonderful getaway spot.
The setting is wonderful, and the rooms and staff are exceptional.
