Camping Reina Isabel

The staff were super friendly, and the bathrooms were clean, but I wouldn’t come back because of the tent pitches. They’re gravel covered with a sheet of plastic grass, so there’s no way to put in stakes. It’s a bit silly, and you end up camping right between RVs.

We had a few problems with our campervan while we were there, and the staff were amazing about it. They offered help and made us feel comfortable, so we could relax even in the middle of all the chaos.

The campsite was a bit farther from central Granada than we’d have liked, though the bus stop is very close. It’s rather dated, but that gives it some charm. The pool area was closed and looked quite tired. We didn’t try the restaurant, although it looked very nice.

There’s a bus stop right outside, with direct routes into the city centre, making this a great base for visiting granada. Our pitch was on the small side, but very clean. The staff were lovely and helpful, and the toilets and showers were clean and nice. One small thing: the streetlights stay on overnight and are very bright, so everything looks like daytime. It won’t be a problem if your van has proper curtains.
