Casa Gañan

The village is peaceful and has the basics nearby, including a supermarket, butcher, bakery and bar. The owner was always around and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is spacious and has all the comforts, and the patio is incredible, especially the barbecue area and those lovely-smelling rose bushes. We'd absolutely recommend it.

I had to leave my dog out of the trip because pets aren't allowed, which was the one thing I didn't like. I hope they might reconsider that someday. Otherwise, the house is fantastic, with roomy bedrooms, heating throughout, everything equipped, and a lovely patio with a barbecue.

The peaceful, beautiful surroundings made our three nights lovely. There were nine adults, but the place never felt crowded. The rooms deserve a 10/10: comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged down to the details. The owner was delightful and provided everything we asked for.

We loved Casa Gañán and will definitely come back. The owners were so hospitable and attentive throughout our stay. We spent the Santiago Apóstol long weekend there with friends and family, and it was the only house nearby where we could all stay together. The village is lovely, set on the banks of the Duero River, with a striking tower and church. There are several bars and small shops selling local meat and other food. We also had a great day at the village pool, with lots of grass and shade, plus a restaurant for a cool drink or a good lunch or dinner. The layout worked really well for both families. Two separate sections are split by a patio, so each family had its own bedrooms and bathrooms, with just the dining room shared. We were together without feeling crowded, and still had some privacy. The house is very comfortable. There’s a huge living and dining room, a kitchen and bathroom, and it looks out onto a big patio with a barbecue and large table. Every bedroom is spacious and has its own bathroom. The mattresses were very comfortable, everything was brand new, and there was plenty of kitchenware and tableware for our group. The towels were new too. Thank you so much!
