The father and sons were excellent to us while I was in town for work. We couldn't make it into town for lunch, so the man offered us sandwiches. The rooms were very clean, with good heating and a great shower. 100% recommended.

🚫 Kids We were cycling through the area with four children and went into the bar. The owner said it wasn't a school, refused to serve us, and wouldn't let us use the bathroom. Things escalated because of his aggression and bad manners, and the Civil Guard ended up coming. He also refused to give us a complaint form. EDIT After we told people what happened, they said the family who own the place aren't right in the head. They said the owners are obsessed with the establishment next door, a bar, shop and bakery that's great and very popular. Apparently they keep an eye on who goes in and out, and won't serve you if you've been there. They also said the owners don't get along with the townspeople, won't serve someone who only wants a beer, and will close when the place next door does so the locals have nowhere else to go. They described the owners as rude and ill-mannered and said there have been several altercations involving the Civil Guard. Be very careful going there. We still can't understand how it's still open, or how the way customers are treated hasn't ended in tragedy. If you want to avoid trouble, stay away. There are great alternatives nearby with super-friendly people.

It should have been a nice afternoon with the children, but it turned very unpleasant. I was buying something so the kids could use the restroom, and the owner refused to serve me. He shouted that he wouldn't let me into a school because I had four small children with me. Trying to reason with him only made him more aggressive, and it went on until the Civil Guard arrived. He didn't even behave in front of them. The treatment was aggressive and deeply unpleasant.

Even if you really have to, I recommend not going. In front of all the other customers, the staff behaved aggressively and inappropriately, then refused to provide the complaints book. It's sad that such rude people work in hospitality. Families looking for a pleasant, relaxing time should avoid this unpleasant experience.
