We paid €600 for three nights and spent them freezing. There’s a large house and a small annex, and the four of us arrived at 11 pm on the first night in mid-December to find we’d been put in the annex with the radiators off. The room was icy, there was no firewood, and we had to sleep in the thermal clothes we’d brought for hiking. The heating never reached the little house, so we came back to the same cold each night. With the river nearby, the humidity made it especially miserable. The place advertises all the amenities and charges €200 a night, so having no heat or even wood to make up for it feels unforgivable. We also had just one toilet roll for four people for the whole stay, and one hand towel each with no bath towels. Those are small things I might have overlooked. I emailed the owner to explain what had happened and got no reply, not even an apology. This was an incredibly disappointing stay, and I feel ripped off.

The views from this lovely little house are spectacular, perched above the Ebro River. The couple who run the place provide amazing service. Héctor also arranges wine tours, wine and olive oil tastings, and more.

We had a really pleasant time here, with lovely views over the Ebro River. It’s a great spot to unwind and enjoy the local wine. Thanks for everything, Hector. We’ll be back.

The house itself is fine, but it had no kitchen utensils, and the cleanliness needs a thorough going over.
