The garden is large, so you're woken by birdsong. Rooms are basic but comfortable, and the place has a quirky charm, with three cute dogs and a book-lined sitting room. The staff took great care of our bikes and poured insanely large measures of local liquors. Breakfast was good, though it could've had some protein.

A few blocks from the beach, it's a nice location, and breakfast was a good continental spread. The receptionist was very helpful and even put some wet, washed clothes through their dryer.

The hotel is dated, but the staff were fantastic, attentive, and really friendly. It's in a fantastic location. Our room had no AC, though that wasn't a problem for us. Breakfast was served indoors or outside, with bread, croissant, yoghurt, and jams.

The three or four sausage dogs living there were my favorite part. They were a lovely welcome after a day of walking. The owners were friendly and so hospitable, and the garden seating area was gorgeous, with butterflies and birds. It rained while I was there, unfortunately, so I missed the beach, which is very close to Hotel El Ancla. The rooms are plain but work well for Camino travelers like me. Breakfast was continental, with no espresso coffee or cappuccino, but there are cafes nearby in town. I really enjoyed my stay.
