Hotel Ramona

After a strenuous day cycling, I stayed overnight in a double room on the first floor. The welcome was friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the shower pressure was good. It’s well located and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was nice at Menfis across the square. I’d highly recommend it for anyone with simple tastes.

We had a great couple of nights here as a break from the Camino. The concierge was super friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable. It’s only a few blocks from the beach, with plenty of places to eat and drink nearby.

Inside, it was spotlessly clean, spacious and, I’d say, impressive. The outside looks run down and badly in need of some TLC, so it was a surprise. We got a warm welcome, and the rooms were great, unless you need a hair dryer. The location is brilliant for getting quickly to the old town, which is a must visit, as well as cafes, restaurants, shops and the port. Highly recommend.

Ramonia hotel is so cosy, and its architecture is better than what you find in even 4* hotels. The place is very spacious; my boys’ room was like a football pitch. It’s central to everything and in an excellent location. The staff are friendly and helpful. I loved it and highly recommend it. Wish I could’ve stayed longer.
