We spent most of our time relaxing on the terrace with its barbecue, and the jacuzzi looking out over the mountains was a real treat. The place was peaceful, the accommodation had everything we needed, and the staff welcomed us warmly and gave us helpful information about the area. There’s also a small pool and a terrace with sun beds. Since Laroya is up in the mountains, bring what you need because there aren’t many options nearby. We found a tiny bakery with delicious pastries, picked up a few things at an even smaller shop, and had a fabulous meal at the town’s only cafe/bar. We stayed for two nights and loved the peace. If you want to get away from it all in rural Spain, I’d recommend it.

A car is a must because it’s isolated, but that quiet setting is part of what makes this place so charming. The cottage was spotless and well cared for, with stunning views, and the jacuzzi was fabulous. A perfect getaway. We’ll definitely come again.

A great place to spend a few days away from everything. The house was roomy and very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, and there’s a small swimming pool overlooking the hills. The staff were nice too.

Casa Rural Picachico sits in a spectacular natural setting that makes it easy to relax and switch off. The accommodation feels welcoming, and its facilities are carefully maintained, with rustic charm alongside modern comfort. The hosts were friendly and attentive throughout. A lovely choice for a peaceful break and time in nature. Highly recommended.
