The stone house stays cool in summer, which we really enjoyed on a weekend visit. In winter, the fireplace in the living room and electric heating in the other rooms kept everything pleasantly warm. I also loved the rustic decor, and Puri was an exceptional host. If you visit in winter, Gallocanta Lagoon is close enough to walk to and see the cranes. Daroca, Calamocha, Albarracín, Calatayud, and Niévalos, home of the famous Stone Monastery, are a short drive away.

We'd love to come back. Between October and March, it's a lovely base for unwinding after a walk around Gallocanta Lagoon to watch the cranes migrating north. The house has a charming village feel, with colorful, comfortable rooms, and a few winter days by the fireplace were a real treat. Puri and Adolfo were impeccably hospitable. Everything was perfect.

Curro and Puri were kind and attentive, and Mrs. Puri's donuts were delicious. Casa Tolosa in Las Cuerlas, Zaragoza is a peaceful spot for a relaxing weekend. The house is spectacular and very pretty, well located, with three large, fully equipped bedrooms. My only small complaint is that the shower in the first-floor bathroom is too small for adults, though it would be ideal for children. Highly recommended if you want a few peaceful days.

We couldn't see the Salafa lagoon because it was dry, but the weekend was still wonderful. The village is small and welcoming, and the house was huge. We were greeted with doughnuts. Fantastic!

Puri, the owner, was lovely and friendly, paid attention to the details, and made sure everything was just right. The country house felt like home, with everything we needed, and it was well equipped and very clean. The area is beautiful and I'd highly recommend it. We stayed last weekend, on the 18th and 19th.
