The kitchen and bathroom were filthy, and the shared bathroom was tiny with no privacy. The street was extremely noisy, and the mattress sank under me. I couldn't sleep. Disgusting place, stay away.

The host was kind and made everything easy from the start. The house was spotless and well cared for, with a fully equipped kitchen and everything in good condition. It's a very quiet area, good for relaxing. I'd happily stay again.
The place was clean overall, with a basic kitchen area and decent fridge space. The mattress was good quality but very hard, and the shower was extremely small. The other guests I did meet were usually nice, though everyone mostly kept to themselves. Still, I wouldn't recommend staying more than a few days, or a week at most, if you want comfort or privacy. The bathroom is shared with guests from another room, usually two people. They change every two or three days, so it's hard to get used to each other's routines or communicate. Around 11 in the morning and at noon, departing guests can occupy the bathroom for hours while getting ready, which can leave you stuck if you need to go out or have just come back. The street is busy and loud at all hours. Even with the windows shut, I needed noise-cancelling earplugs to sleep, and there was no blackout curtain in the bedroom. The owner only explained more about the shared bathroom on WhatsApp after I'd booked. Since cancellation wasn't possible before arrival, I tried to make it work anyway. I left early because of these problems and asked the owner if I could get a refund for the unused days. He refused, saying he wouldn't find someone else during the next 14 days in carnival season. After I left, the owner cancelled my booking on Booking.com, and the record said I hadn't arrived, even though I'd stayed seven days. It felt like it was only about the money. Maybe it's fine for a short stay with low expectations, but not for longer or if the things I mentioned matter to you.
I felt welcome right away. The owner was easy to approach and really helpful, explaining everything and quickly bringing me an extra item I asked for, even though he didn't have to. The location is good too. Just eating at H! BURGER 😄
We spent a week in Las Palmas, and Piero made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. He was welcoming and always available. The house is in a handy spot for getting around the city or exploring the island. Our room and the shared areas were clean and tidy, and Piero's city tips made the trip even better. Top!
