We used this place as a base for all the hikes nearby, and it was secluded and peaceful. The accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed. Our hosts were just right, always there if we needed anything but never in the way. We're definitely planning to come back.

Everything was spotless, and the bedroom was lovely. We slept really well, and the bathroom was perfect too. There's a big carport for the car, plus several nice places to sit outside. One is covered and sheltered from the wind, and there's a small terrace looking over "eastern" Gran Canaria. The apartment is separate from the owners' house and sits in an old crater within a nature reserve. Getting there means taking a narrow dirt road, but the setting is very quiet. Inside, the large, beautiful living room is fully equipped and opens onto a spacious kitchen with a Nespresso machine, oven, dishwasher, and more. Coffee pods and dishwasher tablets were provided. You can also request laundry, with the washing machine behind the kitchen. There's so much more to list. Bravo, Mieke and Jan!

The mountain and ocean views were hard to beat, and getting by car right up to the house entrance was easy. The place is a real surprise, with a one-of-a-kind vintage style mixed with modern and artistic touches.
