Las Canteras beach was only a 3-5 minute walk, and it took about five minutes to reach a car park or the bus station. We caught the hop-on hop-off bus there for sightseeing around las palmas and really enjoyed it. The location suited us very well. We loved our room at Hotel Ciudad del Mar. It was spacious and clean, and the staff looked after us so well. They gave us helpful information about the area, and the woman at reception spoke very good English. Breakfast was nice too. We got a voucher for Oliva restaurant and could choose what we wanted. We'll definitely stay again. Many thanks, and a very Happy New Year to you all! 😘 Felicia &Lewis

We only stayed one night in a basic room, but it was good: comfy bed and clean bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was great. Breakfast was simple, though it had what you need. I'd stay again.

Good value, with clean, comfortable, spacious rooms in a great spot. There's no kettle in the bedroom, but ask at reception and they'll bring one. Apparently guests often take them home because they're so good.

The room was clean and roomy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The beach is just a three-minute walk away, with plenty of restaurants nearby. We skipped breakfast since there are so many cheaper choices around. I'd consider staying here again.

8/10
The staff were really friendly and helpful, and it felt like good value for the money. The location is very central, so you can walk to the beach, markets, supermarkets, and restaurants. It's a lively area, so noise could bother you. There's also a very strong perfume or aroma being used, which won't suit everyone. Smoking is allowed on the terrace downstairs, on the way up to the rooms.
