Apartamentos Colón Playa

We booked through Booking.com and paid cash at the accommodation. The beach is right there, and plenty of restaurants are an easy walk away, with SuperDino just around the corner. Our room, bathroom, and kitchenette were all clean. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, especially Jose, who handled both check-in and check-out. It was just right for our night before flying to the airport. Thanks so much, we'd happily recommend it.

There was a little balcony in our room, along with AC, a TV, and WiFi. The kitchen was practical and fully equipped, and the room was clean, with daily cleaning offered. The apartment hotel is right by the beach, with a small supermarket across the street and a taxi stand around the corner. The only small drawback was the mattress, which felt quite hard and got uncomfortable after a couple of days. Still, the location was great, and we may well come back to this Las Palmas hotel.

Check-in and checkout were quick, and the room was serviced every day. The apartment also had great views, so there was plenty to like. It could be noisy at night, though. There’s no central air conditioning, which meant leaving the windows open all night.

Our internal room had no view, but the beach was only yards away outside. The WiFi was the best we've had anywhere, and the air conditioner worked really well, though we had to ask for its remote. The staff were very friendly, and for a budget hotel it was great value. It’s almost always fully booked, so book early. We'd highly recommend it.
