TC Hotel Doña Luisa

The room and bed were comfortable, and Las Canteras beach is very close by. It's a budget hotel in a central location. Breakfast is inexpensive and covers all the basics.

We had a lovely holiday in Gran Canaria and stayed at the Dona Luisa Hotel. What I remember most is coming downstairs each morning to Irene and Angie smiling at us. They were so pleasant, professional, and smart, and their knowledge of places to visit around Gran Canaria was excellent. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The hotel has only three stars, but its staff deserve five. Gracias ladies, I miss seeing you in the mornings!

The rooms are about three-star quality. It's a good place, with mini markets nearby and the promenade just a two-minute walk away.

The breakfast is fairly basic in variety, but it has what you'd need, from eggs and meats to cereal, fruit, and pastries. I enjoyed it. The room was great too, with a kettle and a cool, illuminated ceiling over the bed. Each room has its own name, which I liked. The hotel sits just off the promenade, about a three-minute walk away. The view from the room isn't great, but the sea is only a short walk from there. The staff were excellent, friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, and really helped make the stay a good one.
