We’ve been here two weeks out of a 30-day stay, and still haven’t heard back about a possible rent discount, so I’m writing this review. The host seemed to listen at first but hasn’t acted on anything. We asked to move to another apartment, but it was smaller and in even worse shape. We couldn’t find another place nearby because we have a dog, so we had to clean this one ourselves. Every room is dirty. The walls are filthy, the plaster is peeling, the windows are alarming, and the bathroom is run-down, with rust and a filthy shower. The pans are rusty too, the microwave is broken, and the toilet handle is missing, with scotch tape holding it in place. This problem had already been reported a year ago as “A NIGHTMARE.” There’s no toilet paper, soap, or other basic items either.

The management still hasn’t given me an invoice, even though I asked on the day I moved in, December 18th. It’s now December 30th. Customer service gets a zero from me. The apartment itself was fine, but it needed maintenance: the walls were dirty and needed painting, the bathroom door was broken and wouldn’t close properly, and the bathroom light didn’t work.

Parking is a bit difficult, though the staff are very helpful. They were exceptionally friendly, and the location is excellent. The modern, comfortable apartments looked recently renovated and may have needed a few more days to be in perfect condition. Even so, we had a good experience and I’d highly recommend it.

The man who showed us the place was kind enough not to charge for the night we stayed, but we had to find a hotel the next day. The apartment didn’t work properly, not even the toilet door would close, and we lost more than half a day of our short holiday. The photos looked great, but I’d encourage people to leave a brief review of their stay so others know what to expect.
