We were a group of around 20 riders and only stopped for drinks, but the owner was right there with buckets of canned beer for all the thirsty people. The bill was 42 euros for large bottles of water, at least one beer each, some wine, and a few sodas. Everyone was friendly, and the restaurant was nicely decorated.

We spent three nights here and had a fantastic time. The outdoor meals were especially enjoyable, with that stunning view and such a peaceful setting. The owner was really welcoming and made us feel at home. I loved the carrilleras (pork cheeks stewed in red wine) and pollo asado (roast chicken), though everything I tried was delicious. Hiking routes start very close by, and there’s a river just a few minutes away that our dog loved. I’m already looking forward to coming back as soon as I can.

Restaurant review. The food was amazing, there’s a good choice, and the prices are fair. Lunch was 18 euros for a three-course menu. Everyone was very nice too. If you’re nearby, maybe after hiking to Salines Viejo, don’t hesitate to stop in. I’ll be back for sure.
