Hotel-Apartamentos Tartesos

Check-in was easy. I had a code, entered it, and got my key card. I arrived Sunday, and after work on Monday I just needed to show my passport at reception for them to copy. I was there for a week of training, and the room was roomier than I’d expected. It had a kitchen with a fridge, microwave, and all the plates, cutlery, glasses, and cups I needed. The bathroom was large and clean, though the shower was a little small. It suited me fine. There was plenty of hanging space and lots of drawers. The bed was just okay. A few young guests ran up and down the hallway for two nights, which was the one downside. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay.

A comfortable spot with friendly people, and good value if you’re staying for a while. The neighborhood was clean and pleasant, and the staff were lovely, especially Alba at the Front Desk. My one real gripe was the small TV, which didn’t have international news channels like CNN or BBC.

I’m in Las Rozas often because my family lives there, and Tartesos is where I tend to stay, including on longer visits. The rooms are comfortable, with a little kitchen and living space, and the staff are always happy to help when I have questions. I can be a difficult guest, so I appreciate that. I’d strongly recommend it for stays from a few days to a few weeks, and I’ll keep coming back. If booking.com gives you trouble, try calling or emailing them. It sometimes won’t let me book, but they sorted it out right away when I called.

There are several supermarkets nearby, including AhorraMas, Mercadona, and Carrefour, and Plaza Asia has household goods. For shopping, Style outlet is about a 15-minute walk, with brands like Nike, Puma, Adidas, Druni, and Springfield at good prices. Heron city, with its popular restaurants, and Las Rozas Village are about 20 minutes away on foot. The train station is a 15-minute walk and the bus stop is three minutes away. The apartments come in a good range of sizes, facilities, and prices. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the cleaning staff do a good job too.
