The room was the highlight: 202 was spacious, with twin beds, decent sheets and blankets, and a great view over the town, hills and ocean. There was also a little window facing the port, which would probably be lovely at sunrise if you’re up early. The bathroom and towels were fine, and I appreciated having a proper rack to hang both towels on. The downside was the bar and restaurant below, noisy until midnight, though it was quiet once they closed. I’d book parking ahead since there aren’t many spaces. Breakfast at 7€50 wasn’t worth it for me: the room was dark, the coffee and OJ weren’t great, the croissants didn’t seem fresh, and even the yogurt tasted off. We preferred the continental breakfast at Hotel L’Eultimo, about a 10-minute walk away. For 9€ it came with good coffee, fresh OJ and creamy Asturian “frixuelos”.

The rooms are large and the staff were really nice. We were very well looked after, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The off-street parking was great, although they don’t lock it at night.

The sea view is the thing to ask for here. It was truly amazing. This is an old-school hotel at the top of beautiful Lastres; our room was modest but had everything we needed, and it was very clean. Breakfast was nice too.

The hotel looks beautiful outside and in the halls, but the room was a different story. It was dirty, with dust under the furniture, and didn’t smell fresh, so I especially wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with dust allergies. The bathroom was in bad shape and the seat was broken. It felt overpriced and very disappointing. I wouldn’t stay here even for free.

We decided to stay in a hotel this time, and this one didn’t disappoint. We had a lovely meal here last night, then a very good breakfast this morning 🌄.
