Caserío Kamirune

The people were nice.

Breakfast is worth booking, it was very complete. The place is peaceful and close to Bilbao and other tourist attractions, and the staff were very friendly. I left a suit behind, and they were incredibly helpful in arranging the courier. 10/10.

The owner was kind and helped us sort out a problem with our reservation. It's a beautiful, peaceful place, and we'll definitely stay again when we're back in the area. Thank you.

We booked by mistake, thinking it was a private house. That was our fault, we were rushing during a break at work. We contacted the owner right away, more than three months ahead, and politely explained that it wasn't what we wanted. We were a group of 30-year-olds and didn't want to disturb the other guests. He said he couldn't cancel because Booking.com would charge him. But Booking.com told us that with the owner's agreement, we could cancel and he wouldn't be charged. When that argument didn't work, he asked us to send money through Bizum, which Booking.com strongly advised us not to do. We assumed he needed the money, but when we arrived, the parking lot was full of cars. The owner came across as unsympathetic, money-grubbing, unpleasant, and grumpy. The rooms are exorbitantly priced for what you get, a rip-off. Book somewhere else. Luckily, we had plans and were only there to sleep. The dogs were lovely, and the service was pleasant, unlike the owner. It's also true that after you leave a bad review, he calls and insults you.
