The house is built into and onto a rock, and has been nicely renovated. The rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated, the co-working space is well equipped with fast Wi-Fi, and the large kitchen is where everyone tends to gather. Everything is well maintained and comfortable. The atmosphere is relaxed and communal: people help each other, cook together, and go on trips together, but you can always have privacy when you want it. Join in or do your own thing. Inés, Julio, and their children are warm, welcoming hosts who do all they can to make you feel at home. They're also active in the community, bringing locals and guests together and supporting culture and environmental protection. Laxe is a 2-minute drive away, and there's a shared bicycle available. The beaches nearby are amazing. I loved the beautiful, unspoiled nature and being away from the tourist crowds. A car is recommended, especially for the roughly one-hour trip to the airports in A Coruña and Santiago, and for seeing the rest of Galicia. The roads are good, and there was little traffic in the fall. I can highly recommend islow Coliving. Surfers, nature lovers, and people working remotely on a trip will probably feel most at home here. Party people and cosmopolitans may prefer larger towns. My only small drawback was the country road right outside the house. Everything else was just perfect, and I really enjoyed my workation in September. Thanks so much, Inés and Julio!

Laxe is a quaint town with spectacular hikes and pristine beaches, and I had such a wonderful time that I'm planning to return in May for the hiking retreat. At iSlow, my room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, and the shared spaces were lovely places to spend time with the community. Inez and Julio made me feel at home right away. Fresh bread arrived every morning, along with local eggs and oranges.

Laxe is wonderfully quiet, with several beaches close by. If you're after calm and very little tourism, this is the place. I loved my time at iSlow and definitely want to return. Ines and Julio are caring hosts who'll do everything they can for their guests. The people I met over just two weeks were friendly and easygoing, and co-working together was a lot of fun. It felt like a family and gave me a different perspective from my usual remote days at home.

I felt welcome at iSlow from the moment I arrived, and after two months it was hard to leave. The care Julio, Ines, and Laura put into the rooms and shared living spaces, along with the warmth they bring to the house, makes this place incredibly special. The team goes the extra mile to create a peaceful coliving stay that feels connected to the local culture. If you're after a cozy, quiet retreat surrounded by beautiful natural areas, this is your spot. I can't wait to go back!

We're in our fourth week at iSlow, a beautiful co-living and co-working place created by Ines and Julio, and are here for a 5-week workation. I'm working all the time while my family gets to enjoy a vacation 😂. The house is thoughtfully set up for working, relaxing, and meeting lots of lovely people from around the world. Ines and Julio are just super nice and make you feel at home right away. Thanks so much for the awesome experience. We'll definitely try to come back!
