Purple Dog Suites

The cancellation situation was especially frustrating. I asked whether cancelling, as they had suggested, would mean I could get a refund, but they ignored that question. I only got an answer after I cancelled myself, on the evening my two-day booking was due to begin. After several more emails, they still wouldn’t offer any kind of refund. They apparently knew there would be no refund when they suggested cancelling, and I think they should have made that clear from the start. We booked with Purple Dog Suites in July 2025, and the communication was rude and the cancellation messages misleading. At 11.30 PM the night before check-in, they suddenly called while I was asleep. Then they sent information to my private WhatsApp without my consent and asked us to provide passport photocopies for check-in. I said I was willing to share the written passport details, but not a copy of the image. Their response was, “If you do not comply, you can cancel your reservation.” They made no effort to make the booking or communication pleasant and quickly told us to cancel. I’d choose a more polite company that doesn’t suggest cancelling without offering compensation.
