Zentric Hostel

The hostel is very central, near the cathedral, Mercadona supermarket, the Camino route, SIM card shops, and currency exchange. The room was quiet thanks to good sound insulation. Heating worked really well, and after a short wait the shower had great hot water. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided. Finding the entrance took a bit of effort: it’s at the back of the building, not facing the fountain. Take the elevator or stairs to the second floor. The Zentric Hostel reception sign is on the left, where you can ring the bell. I paid 25€ for a bunk in a shared room with only four people. The bed already had a towel, sheet, pillowcase, and thick blanket, and everything was very clean and smelled great. The kitchen had spices, pots, and more. The living room was cozy, with a great view and Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi worked really well for me, though another guest farther from the living room had a weaker connection.

The hosts were lovely and ready to help whenever we needed something. The room was spacious, with a great view of a pretty fountain, and the bed was really comfortable. There’s also a big living room where you can relax. Everything was perfect. If you need somewhere to stay in Leon, this is the place.

The building is beautiful, and the common room overlooking the fountain is magnificent. Our host was wonderful, the rooms were extremely clean, and the kitchen was great for cooking. Highly recommend!

Everything was clean and comfortable, just what you could ask for. I’d absolutely recommend it as a treat for anyone walking the Camino. The receptionist was amazing and so welcoming, and even helped with our laundry so we could explore the city. I’d stay again if I came back.
